Question x50v newbee...

I just got my x50v and I have a questions regarding the ROM update. Which update do I install?

The latest update is A05. There is a thread about it here with download links. Be sure you read through the thread for reports of improvements and/or problems. A more "stable" update would be the A04 but keep in mind that it too, has resulted in problems for a few.

You should have the latest ROM if you just purchased x50v. Go to setting, system, system information to check the ROM version. However, you shouldn't have A05 because it is not officially released yet. Though, the file has been flowing around the internet for a while.

If you have A04 on your x50v, I'd stick with that for now, stablity-wise. Give yourself some time ot enjoy your new toy before you start tinkering with it.

hehe.. i had mine for three days and decided it was time to tinker to A05. Fortunately the Sprite backup worked flawlessly.... So far. I have yet to use all my programs again but the ones I have used have worked just like before. I just got a new SD card so I'll probably be installing to that from now on then. I had been installing to BIM. :(
