Blue Tooth Blues

Recently got a x50v and trying to set up my sony t608 phone for bluetooth access to sprint pcs. Had a hp4355 before and worked fine. After 2+hours no success. I can get the phone to pair the devices,but after I enter the code in the phone the dell won't pair them up. When I hit cancel there is no icon under bluetooth manager, but there is an icon under paired devices on the dell????????? Like the Dell took only an hour to get all the software up and installed but this bluetooth is driving me crazy. I have followed ted's instructions and I even have the same phone. Any suggestions or should i flush the phone?????

i am still trying to get my dell x50v and sony t608 to work. I have tried teds way to the letter with no luck. The phone will pair but then the pda says service discovery unsuccessful. I have tried going in reverse and letting the phone find the pda with bluetooth dicoverable on the axim, same problem pda sits phone can't discover it after pairing. I have tried all 3 phone types and phone not listed no luck. Ihave tried to change the modem rate on the phone no luck. Does this dell have new driveers that won't work with my phone???????? This is driving me nuts. Any hints accepted. Also tried tabtens steps then teds no luck discovery is unsuccessful every time. Pairing is not the problem. I can pair them all day but the dell wont successfully discover the phone to allow me to set the dial up networking. I also tried turning off encryption and passcodes on dial up and serial in blue tooth settings no luck.
