Yup, the V stands for Video (as well as VGA) :)

Btw Psionandy, have you ever used a zodiac? or an ipaq 4700?
How does the GFX accell compare?
(Example comparing FPS or looks on a compatable game, Stuntcar Extreame)

Well I have used a zodiac... but only for about 30 seconds... and it really was quite good. Not really long enough to say much more though.
If I was a gamer I'd also seriously look at the PSP

I've used all three. The iPaq has no 3D acceleration to speak of from its chip. The Zodiac isn't bad, but the platform is basically dying, since the company went bankrupt and has been auctioned off. The Axim's video hardware is by far the superior of both the others.

You seem to have many PPCs... I would say of course the x50v is worth it. Unfortunately I actually dont feel much differece in power and speed compared to my X5adv... maybe I just expect 1337!!! speed and power or something for the price but in all honesty it isnt much of a difference. I poked a Hx4700 today and that just felt so much more responsive. Click scheduler? pops up O_O... not load load open. But the QVGA->VGA with video abilities and built in wifi... so worth it. But if you like games... the vga chip and the 2700G chip REALLY makes life annoying. Things streach, blink, fail to run, its like trying to run dos games on your computer... sometimes it works okay other times they are just equivalent to not having it at all. So I pray for WM5 to make everything good or Morphgear + FPSCE and whatever other port out there to make it 2700G optimized... then it will be beautiful.
The HP HX4705 http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=93061 has the ATI Imageon chip.
