You don't need MPT or anything else.

Pair your PPC and your phone.

Go to the contacts screen on the PPC.

Select all of the contacts you want to transfer.

Press and hold the screen of the PPC.

Select "Send via Bluetooth"

Select your previously paired phone and press OK.

The phone then receives all of the contacts one by one and asks you to accept or reject them.

You can also use DataPilot. https://www.susteen.com/index.htm Although you can't sync directly from the X50v, it will import all of your Outlook Contacts and Calander. Plus it can also send & recieve custom ring tones and pictures. But be aware - I also have the RazR phone, and it will only allow ONE phone number per contact. If a person has more than one number, they will need to be stored as another contact. This software is great for keeping your contacts up to date on your phone

That did't work well for me. I have about 300 contacts in my phonebook. On top of that, my Axim will always time out before I can save my 2nd contact entry to my V3.

I don't think there is a need to get the cable, if you own a device that has a USB to USB mini, that cable will do just as well.

you might want to go over to motomodders.com .. they have TONS of programs for you to mod your razr (or any motorola phone for that matter).

300 is a lot to individually accept. I feel your pain.

But I have no problem doing this without the timeout. Are you sure your Axim and phone are paired? Can you see the phone's OBEX File transfer icon in the Axim's Bluetooth manager? If you select that icon, can you see the phone's audio, picture and video directories?
