Overclock x50 mid

How high can you safety overclock the x50 mid with it still being perfectly stable?

Granted...it's mainly about the X50v, but the theory should be the same. I seem to remember a discussion that the 520 MHz processor was just an underclocked 624 MHz processor at some point...and I don't know if that was ever debunked as a myth.
