Thanks everyone for all the information. I'm glad you told me about the battery issue and how to deal with it.

You can also turn off the backlight by pressing and holding the power button.

There's only one speaker, so no. Mono sound coming out of the speaker. Get youreself a nice pair or earphones, and you'll be amazed, though.

Even cooler, you can play sound files coming from your Wi-Fi connection if you have a media server, or simply a big stash of MP3s in your main computer somewhere, and you're in range of your Wi-Fi router, of course.

Wow! I didn't know that you can do that! Thanks for the tip!
Now, for a simple question. I just downloaded an IPod skins from megaone. Placed it in the Programs Files>Windows Media Player directory. When I go and open WM10 and go Menu>Options>Skins, previous and next button are disabled. How can I change the default skin?

TIA!

Yeah the x50v makes for a very good MP3 player as well as what I consider the worlds most expensive MP3 player... making the IPod go to shame.

X50v 400
1gb SD 50
2gb CF 100
Battery 25
------------
$575

Then get accessories >_<

All that for 3gbs of storage... but I like it.. it can do more for the space it takes in your pocket.

You'll love your x50v the screen is AWSOME...and yes this is just my personal opinion ---> "Kicks Ipods ARSE!"
