Monthly fee's for PPCs?

Wait! Stop! I'm so confused. I've been submitting my monthly fees along with my monthly elevator access fees at work(which must only go to the basement as it's a 1-story buiding). I feel in such disarray. :rolling:

Any monthly fees would be for optional services, like WIFI hotspot subcriptions, but there are free WIFI hotspots around that you don't have to pay for.

Ok, so does that mean if I bought my X50V outright back in February, and haven't made ANY monthly payments since.. that they are going to repossess it? Man.. talk about not reading the fine print! :o)

I am considering buying an X50v, but then i heard that for a PPC you have to pay monthly fees (i am not talking about down payments, i am talking about buying a ppc, but then ALSO being charged monthly fees even if it isnt a phone).

Yes you are correct. It is called the vig and if you don't pay it a big man will show up at your door and crush your PPC to bits.

not an alternative, just another thing to add to my collection...
I dont know if im getting this soon, im guessing palms new linux powered will suck ass so when my Z is completely unusable (could be tomorrow or in a year). Im already on the preorder list for GP2X (yes, that is its NEW name, as opposed to the old gpx2)...im screwing around with a casio e125 but i dont have an activesync cable so i cant get anything on it...

Try infrared if you have a laptop. You can sync the E-125 that way. The only problem with that is the E-125 uses a MIPS Processor so the latest software simply isn't compatible.
