Not a stupid question at all

I have the H300 model. Which comes with a 5V 4 AA battery pack. Which can charge the IRIVER or your X50v about 2 times each. Handy!

Could you guys post a picture for this? And if you would, if you could post a link to where we can buy this accessory?

Also if its not too much trouble, could you please tell us if the charging Axim is On or Off.
If you do turn it on, does it still "charge"? Or does it "flicker" on and off?

Just google IRIVER EXTERNAL BATTERY PACK. You want the H3XX model.

I have used my device whilst charging and had it charged whilst turned off and both have worked fine. It is fairly quick and I saw no adversed effects like flickering whilst I was using it. I was going to buy an external battery pack until i realised i already owned one!

scottydeewah is your iriver the international version, or the US, because I have the international version with a card reader connected to usb host and the battery pack connected to the x50v. With this I can watch movies for quite a few hours without charging, as even when the movies on the card reader run out I just pop the card into the reader and transfer new movies off the iriver. Now thats something you cant do with an ipod!!
