I have one. The Transcend and Kingmax are my favorite SD cards. Very fast, stable, great value.

Card speed does matter on the x50v. HOWEVER, it's not a simple relationship between faster SD Card = faster speed on x50v. Look around the forums for the debates on this...

I highly recommend Transcend cards. I own both the 1 GB SD (45x) and 1GB CF (45x) cards. Very stable, reliable, and fast. I have lost so much data with other brands that all I buy now is Transcend.

Thanks a lot for your input. I do beleive that 80x speed will not be utilized by the x50, but a faster card may prove very usefull when transferring big amounts of data using card readers.

who actually buys card readers? I dont

anyhow, you may be lucky to see a fraction of the speed usable to the only thing that matters using it in, the pda.

go with cheap cards.

A lot of people here have card readers. If you're doing any type of large file transfers from between your PPC and your PC, and/or if you have a digicam, they are invaluable.

Why not? seriously? if you're shifting video or mp3 files the performance increase is huge....
