x50v practical applications to a foster mom

What is it like to be a foster mom lucky enough to have an x50v? Well, it's great. I go to my MANY specialists appointments for my special kids with my x50v in tow. I can reschedule all my apts on the spot. I can put reminders for all the many hundreds of things I have to rememember on the spot. I can attend all the school meetings and refer to my notes on the spot. I can manage medication schedules, I can sit in my living room supervising my many children and type out my notes, apt notes, supervision notes, etc while being in the same room as my kids and interacting with them. I can take a break to watch SUPERMAN ON THE SPOT WITH MY KIDS. Yeah! I can sit in the waiting room and draw pictures on my screen which really amazes some kids. I can look up jokes to ease the tension. I can set reminders ( of which I have a few thousand! lol), I can help with homework, look up information using wifi, type a report and find any phone number! I could go on and on for all the practical uses for this multi purpose pocket pc, but the best, is that it gives me the practical freedom to organize, help with homework, be prepared and have fun when I need it. No more being chained to my desktop computer. Good job Dell! A happy foster mom in Canada. martimum :love:

Thanks for a bunch of ideas I never thought of! Not having kids myself, I spent much of my Labor Day weekend keeping my delicate electronic devices out of the hands of visiting little people, but your post shows that kids and Pocket PCs can mix.
