SEvga or ozVGA? Nyditot?

I tried surfing the web but I still cant decide between them. SEvga and ozVGA seem to be old programs with no new updates. I just bought the Dell X50V with spd 3.0 and PI 7.1.

what are the advantages between them, which is most stable, and will it slow down my pda/use up my battery faster?

-thanks

Nyditot,
1. It allows you to hookup to a monitor @1280x1024 (with vga out on x50v)
2. It has more options and allows you to change "virtual" resolutions on the fly.

I don't know about ozvga but sevga seems to be in no need for an update, it pretty much does everything it says it will with no bugs...

I don't see the need for them to update. SE_VGA has smaller foot print, so it would be good if you ain't into those customization of ozVGA

I registered Nyditot back when I had my h1930, and it was useful, but a pain due to the squeezed resolution. I didn't bother installing it on my X50v as it already had 640x480 resolution, so it seemed a waste.

Can Nyditot switch beween True VGA and QVGA without resetting? I might need to reinstall it, after all.... :)

Does Nyditot run on true VGA like seVGA or does it just shrink everything down?

Nydidot can run in True VGA.

Yes, you can change from True VGA to QVGA without resetting. (sort of). It's not true QVGA, but it's software rendered QVGA. So fonts aren't going to be as crisp.

Likewise, you can go QVGA to VGA without resetting, but the VGA will be software rendered and won't be as crips as real True VGA.

Confused? hahaha...
