Minimo development woes on X50v...

There was hope that Minimo .009 would work with the X50v, but now it seems a bit more out of reach:

thats odd. it doesnt make sense to leave only 10mb to load programs. if thats the case, really poor design by dell. sounds like a major oversight.

Oh... that makes me wonder if there are any 11mb programs out there to rash the x50..

I kinda doubt that.
Reason: I am running the complete German train schedule (with EU and intl. connections supported by it) as a program on my x50v. The program itself takes up about 18-19mb. However, I am not sure if this applies since it might consist of multiple files.... So tell me if I am just talking trash ;)

they are talking about executable code size only. total memory consumed by the program = is executable code + heap memory + stack memory

Will be interesting to know whether the X51v fixes this problem. Any X51v owners able to help by trying this out?

Also more interestingly, whether the future WM2005 upgrade for the X50v has such a fix too?
