x50v nightmare turns pretty
What a week I have had!!! Last monday on the 12th I bought a refurbished Dell Axim x50v. I was soooo excited, I couldn't wait til I got it. I was like a little kid who couldn't wait til christmas.
I had received it last Thursday. I plugged it into the wall to charge up the battery. I messed around with it a little Thursday Night. Friday I got up and use it for a little bitbefore I went to work. I got a warning that the battery was low.
Saturday I left it on the charger and I hooked everything up to the computer. I tried syncing everything together, I'm still having problems with that. But anyways Sunday I went to a meeting I was having. I am at the meeting it wouldn't turn on!!!!!! I called Dell. we did a soft and hard reset. NOTHING HAPPENED.
To top off things when they issued me the refurbished unit they never entered the service tag under my name!!!
After 2 days and hours on the phone, they got an express service tag.
What a mess!! Finally today they called me back they are reissuing me a new axim! I got on line tonight to check my order, its the new axim x51v they are replacing it with. I hope so!! :approve:
If it really is I'll let you all know how it is!!

No offense, but that was a hard post to read. Could you repost in something like an Ivory white? No, don't do it. Glad you had a happy ending.

So does this mean they're running out of refurb units? I did notice that there were 210 X50 refurbs listed on Monday and NONE on Tuesday.
BTW - congrats. Have you thought of playing the lottery this week?
