Getting 4GB SD card for less than $150

Is this possible?
I saw the 4GB for $260. I'm sure I didn't find the cheapest deal but I don't know how cheap you can possibly get it. Can anyone find out?

Me too - 4GB CF Kingston Elite Pro. Browse the forums frequently and you will find deals. Memory keeps getting cheaper.

I doubt that you're going to find a 4 GB SD card for those prices. CF, yes, but not SD, not yet.

Whoops sorry... I should learn how to read. $160 for a CF card, not an SD.

I woulnd't find 4GB for around $150 either. Cheapest I've seen lately is around $200 (though Kingston has rebates sometimes).

I have an idea. What if we bought them in a group? Say we get 50 people on this site that would like to buy a 4GB SD drive, you think it's possible to get it at the wholesale price.

Sounds like a great idea. If they could be had cheap enough I'd be game. You'd probably have to do some real footwork, though. It might be tough to get that many people to commit.

Okay for those those of you guys not feeling very Enthusiastic about finding cheap memory cards, lets at leat start somewhere.
I'll go first...

I found a 1GB SD card for $38.50 at this link:
http://www.ecost.com/ecost/ecce/shop...mc_id=EWB05485

Not exactly what I call an insane deal, but it's a start.
