Rita effect

Hi guys. Does anybody know if Rita has affected shipping Dell products? I ordered my X50v last wednesday and haven´t even received a mail confirming my order. This means no follow up through the website.

Is it Rita´s fault?

I would be very concerned about your order. I placed an order for a severely discounted x50 on Tuesday and had order confirmation in about 20 minutes. It is shipping out today.

As a frequent Dell customer, I know that Dell ships from many locations besides Round Rock, so I don't think Rita will be much of an issue.

Though their Headquarters is in Round Rock, Texas, I often receive items from OH & TN. I would not be too worried. Most of the UPS Distribution centers are far enough away from the coast.

The last axim I received shipped from Patrick, Nv. But I think you would have a confirmation email by now. Those usually come within 24 hours. I think I would get on Dell chat or email their order dept.
