Big Smile X30 vs X50 -short smart questions, need same answers

I read a lot reviews and searched this forum, but I still have some questions. If you know answer to any of them, please help. I'm speaking about x30 on 624MHz, and x50 520 MHz:
1. do they have the same version of win 2003 SE ?
2. x30 has BT version 1.1 ?
3. can you charge them via USB (without syncing) ?
4. is it possible to add ROM memory to x30 ?
5. who has better battery life ?
6. how much you can feel that x30 is faster in usual everyday application, and video playing ?
7. screen ?
8. system stability ?
9. obex transfer and phone connectivity comparison between models
10. they don't have usb cable in the box ?

I have an x50v so I will see if I can answer some questions about that ~

1. Yes, but the x50 will be able to update to Windows mobie 5.0 when it comes out in the next month or so.

2. Don't know

3. I know you can on the x50, it will charge via the USB if the unit of off. With the power cord attached it will charge on or off.

4. I have seen ads for this on the x50, don't know about the 30

5. Can't say, but my x50 gets around 4 hours or so, but this can change a lot depending on settings and what you are using.

6. Don't really understand the question here. But as for the x50v with the 624 chip and the 2700g graphics stuff, it is fast and plays videos without any problems.

7. IMO, there is nothing better then a VGA screen.

8. I have had very few problems with my x50 in this regard. Now after the latest rom update, I would say it works even better.

9. I don't have any info on this, sorry

10. The only usb cable that they come with is the one attached to the cradle. There are ones you can get seperate as stand alone sync/charge usb cables.

Hope that helps some. If you are trying to decide between the x30 and x50/51, my two cents are go with the x50/51. Good Luck~

Really at this point unless you find a killer deal, I would say the x51v is the winner. :)

X50 (mid) is HX2415 killer
HX2415 is so filmsy, even gave me cracked screen
and I need to sacrifice RX3115 (take the screen out) to save HX2415
if X50/X51 has better battery time when active, I'd never come back to HP!

The X30 series has better battery life.

The X30 has better wireless range, both in WiFi and BT.

The X30 is faster at normal tasks and rendering menus, etc because the X50v has to work displaying extra pixels.

BUT the X30 is no longer being sold new by Dell nor is the X50. The only new one you can purchase from Dell is the X51, but I'm sure Dell is selling refurbished X30 and X50's.

but there's a major weakness on X30: bluetooth stablity
I was fed up for the problem with nokia 6230
however, X50's bt works great with 6230, and now, moto V330

Yes, I was searching for x30 on net. I couldn't find even refurbished. And one more thing: I found on dell x50 for 399$, and for same price x50v on amazon !!(http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...?s=electronics)
Than I have new questions: x50 or x50v ? Any cheaper x50 ?:exc:
I understood that x50v have problem with 2D graphic and baterry problem.

I love the X30h. I researched a lot before buying it (price was not an issue even tho the X30h was amazingly cheap). and I gotta say it payed off. If you are into gaming and video then X50 is for you. however if you are looking for better battery life, better wi-fi range (never had a problem with BT), faster overall performance, want to run hungry applications then X30h is for you. I chose the X30h. :)
