X50V and Heat

Mine gets hot in my pocket with the Bluetooth on while playing music and running a GPS proggie. If had my Axim shut down a few times in the car during a heat wave while it was charging and running the same proggies.
A soft reset was the only way to turn it back on when that happened.

I used my Axim for hours at a time and never experienced the battery getting hot until I used the wall charger for the first time last week. Now the battery seems hot each time I use it, even if for just a few minutes. I was getting concerned until I read this thread.

mine gets warm when wifi is active for periods of time (e.g. listening to audio files from server), this is normal
of course this is a problem getting too hot to burn your hands

Mine doesn't get hot, per se, but it does get warmer.

same with mine. i don't see it as too much of a problem, however.

Mine gets hot when I use it with tom tom 5.1 and Pharosgps ( sdio version ) when pluged into a seidio gps holder. Other then that everything seems to be ok with it not heating up. When I do not run the gps software it seems to not heat up.
