Axim freezes when configuring wireless network

i usually have no problems with my wifi, but yesterday i was out at a street fair and tryed to connect to some open wifi access points. Now everytime i try to configure my wireless it freezes in settings and won't close. I have to go back to my today screen and close it with the task manager. I use Vbar as my task closer. Any help would be greatly apprieciated.

yep, Vbar and Magic button have this known issue. I stopped using Magic Button and bought Wisbar Advance, it's a whole lot better :D not only for task closer but for looks too. SPB PocketPlus is also a great tool.

well i disabled vbar and it works again!!!! Thanx Destroyer, that's wierd though i never had a problem with it before, just all outta the blue. I've been avoiding Wisbar because of system slowdowns, and i don't like having switcher bar at start up, but it looks like I've got no choice. Thanx for the help again.

If you're using Magic Button you can hit the "enter" key to exit the page. Maybe the same can be done for Vbar. Let us know if it works.

actually it's funny, i was screwing around with vbar and this little issue and i found that it only happens when clicking on the setting link that pops up in the dialog box while trying to connect to an available network to set up a proxy. When i check the task manager there are 2 setting windows open. I wonder if it's some sort of redundency issue?

oh yeah hitting enter WORKS!!! well looks like i won't be switching to wisbar after all
