X51v/WM5 Bug With Storage Cards?
I noticed a problem with Windows Mobile 5 as implemented on the X51v. Notes, Word Mobile, Excel Mobile, etc does not see files in subfolders under My Documents on my SD Card or CF Card but does see files in subfolders in the My Documents folder in BIS. If I try to add folders using the folder pull down tab at the top -> Add/Delete, it does not show me any subfolders in the My Documents besides those stored in BIS. X51v owners, please test this and let me know if this condition exists for you as well.

Unfortunately. it isn't that easy. First, there isn't a ignore my documents file to delete. Secondly, ignore my docs does just that, not just ignore the subfolders one level below the my docs folder. I can see what's in "SD Card/My Documents" but not in "SD Card/My Documents/Business"

hmm, usually 'ignore my doc' file is hidden on the card, so u might have to 'show all files' to see it

I can confirm this one, too. I noticed it the first day I got my card as I was wondering where all of my files went.
However, since it doesn't take up main RAM anymore, I've moved all of my "My Documents" files into the BIS and turned on the ActiveSync files conduit in order to make sure things are backed up properly.

Yes, very disapointed this issue. I noticed the first day. I can´t see any subfolder inside of SD Card\My Documents.

To solve some of these problems I want to buy Tweak2k2. Can it be loaded to BIS or a CF card?

I'm completely aware of this and it isn't the problem. It appears to be a bug or ''feature".
I really wonder if anyone actually tests these things before they are released.

It looks like the WM5 aps (not just the Pocket Office programs, it's also true with Acrobat) can find files in any first level directory on the memory card but not see past the first level in any of the folders.
That suggest to me that it's a WM5 issue (thus M$ rather than Dell).

You can install it in any memory card including BIS.
