Hi there.

I just noticed today (haven't seen it before) that whenever I check what program's are running, ActivSync seems to be running in the background even when I'm not connected.

I've stopped all programs and even used the Switcher bar to stop all programs but a few minutes later, it's back.

Did a soft reset and still the same phenomena.

Any thoughts out there on this one?

I've noticed it also. Previous versions of AS on the PPC allowed the user to set up a schedule for syncing and I thought that might have been the reason but there doesn't seem to be that option in WM5. However, I suspect the device periodically looks to see if there is a connection available. I doubt that it uses many resources.
