If you are having the Axim not turning on when you press the power button try this...

Ok, first soft reset your device to make sure everything is hunky dory. Now go about your buisness as normal. OK, when you go to turn on the device, do not click and let go. Make sure to press the power button and HOLD it in until the device has come on. Doing this has reduced my not turning on from about 10 times a day to zero. Let me know if that works for you or just a fluke with my unit. :approve:

P.S. Make sure you repeat that every time you turn on the unit. Hopefull it'll work for you guys, made my life less frustrating.

Maybe screen is just dimmed?

If you press and hold the power button to turn off the screen you'll actually just dim the screen. Depending on the lighting it may appear as though the axim is off. If you then push the power button to turn it on you are actually turning it off. Now if you press the button again you turn it on with the screen dimmed (so it might still look off). If you press and hold the power button when the axim is on the screen will go back to regular brightness.

I have an X50v running WM2003.

Tonight for the first time my axim would not power on. I did a soft reset & it came back up.

Does anyone know what caused this to happen?
