x51v graphics rendering problem?

my unit occasionally only partially renders a screen shot (eg, IE, or Home, or Programs) leaving icons in black & white, or a title bar blacked out, or a 'system tray' unrendered.

i think (my memory is not certain)that this also happened with a replacement unit that i was testing due to a suspected Windows Media Player 10 mobile problem (still not resolved, and having to do with dvd ripping; see other threads).

when this occurs, it gets progressively better as i switch apps or screens, but isn't eliminated completely until a power cycle, or soft reset.

i wonder if anyone else is having a similar issue (or, FTM, an issue with WMP mobile crashing their device?)?.

thanks

Had the Black Icone thing happen once since I received my X51V two weeks ago. Happened when I had a lot of programs open anf program mem was pretty low. Required a soft reset to fix.

I too have the graphics rendering issue and it usually only happens when I am using PIE. Does anyone else have this graphics rendering issue with their X51v??

Everytime i have had a graphics rendering problem, I have quit all app's, turned off any programs that will start on boot-up, and soft-reset. Then when the unit comes back up, I try what ever I was doing (usually either the mini-golf game or the geo-rally game that came with the disk). On my device, I am pretty sure it is a lack of memory issue when running too many things at once.

I have noticed sometimes that the memory seems to leak a little, in that if I reboot with no prog's at boot-time, the memory after some time will start to creep, and within an hour or two I have lost about 2-5 megs. But I haven't been able to narrow it down to any particular app.
