Place x50v, powered off, into cradle/AS4.0 => successful Sync.
Place x51v, powered off, into same cradle/AS4.0 => white screen of death.
Go figure.

I had exactly same problem with my X51, and I was having some other issues with unit, they replaced my unit and I have not had any problem with the white screen. I just noticed that my old X51V had ROM version of A01(08250500), and replaced one has the version number A03 (09130500)
