Activesync 4.0 why...did Msft decide to make life more difficult

Hey guys...Ok i must admit despite its quarks i do love the axim x51v. Im curious though why msft choose to creat activesync 4.0. It seems to me like 5 steps back and ummm no step forward. And dont get me started on their bt stack(it almost seems msft is trying to destroy bt from the inside.

I know that Activesync 4.0 transfers files onto the axim a heck of a lot faster than 3.8 and that it also installs the progreams a lot faster. I am not sure if there was a transfer limit or something in 3.8 that wouldn't let it go up to full speed or what, but I know for a fact that 4.0 IS faster than 3.8 and 3.7. I also wonder what microsoft is trying to do to bluetooth. I liked the bluetooth manager in the 2003 SE OS, but in WM 5.0 it looks like they took I giant leap backwards in the means of function-ability!

Considering the difficulties of delivering high quality software 2 connect devices, I think AS 4.0 ain't all that bad, & I couldn't sync Outlook initially. After deleting the partnership, I was able 2 sync.
