SD Card causing my no power up?

Never Mind It just acted up will not power up.

Sad to say it but It will probably go back for refund 8 ((

I really liked it too

==================
I have a SanDisk 1 Gig SD card (I had it from last Axim) and a 512 Meg CF card (I bought from Dell) in my new Axim.

If I take out the SD card - I do not have the lock ups and no power on problems.

And I have been getting them way too many times a day.
So many, that yesterday I e-mailed my Dell person I ordered it (and a desktop and a laptop) from and ask about returning it.

I wonder if some SD cards are the "issue"?

FYI I have tried all the misc power settingsd andf bluetooth settings and they did not help.

Turn your BT (Blue Tooth) on and leave it on even when shutting your unit off. This will stop the loss of CF and SD cards. It will also stop the 'Does Not Turn On' issue you are having. I had the same issues as have many others here. This solution works for me and has for over a week now. Try it, there is very little battery loss.

I also suspect the SD card for the lockup problems. I upgraded my x51v
to A04 rom version after having several lockups a day.
Since that requires a hard reset, it first appeared
that it cleared up my lockup problems. Today I had another lockup.
It looked like it was caused by the Chronos app not being able
to play the mp3 file located in SD I setup as the alarm notification
sound.

It is possible that Chronos is to blame, but
now I am trying with the mp3 files located on the main device rather
than SD to see if the problem clears. My theory is that when Chronos
wakes up it tries to access the SD to play the alarm sound file, but
the SD is slow to respond, and the app or the O/S doesn't handle this
very well, which causes the lockup.

Just a theory. I will let it run with the mp3 files on the main device
for a few days to see if I get any lockup.

I have had everything turned off when I turn it off.
Also to make clear:
I never had the "missing" SD card issue, it always saw mine

Followup to my earlier post:
I changed my Chronos alarm program to use only the main device rather than the SD for playing mp3 files as the alarm sound. My X51v didn't
lock up during Chronos alarm but later on I had a lock up when I tried
to turn it on. After a soft reset, I noticed there was a reminder
waiting to be dismissed.
So, now I removed my SD entirely to see if even an empty SD might be causing it.
In other threads I noticed people suggesting that a reminder pop-up staying on the screen too long also causes a lock-up. So, perhaps
some lockups at least do not have anything to do with the SD, but
related to reminder handling.
