What is Flight Mode on the x51v?

I've turned it on, and it shuts down the WiFi and the bluetooth, and thinking it was a connect on a need basis i tried to see if i could go online but no luck.

What exactly is it good for? i can't seem to find a point to it no matter what. I've read a few people use it on here... but never really said why... just wondering if someone could explain that. I can't seem to find any info on it in the help menu or anything.

Thanks guys

that's what it's supposed to do .. shut down your electronic air transmission ...etc ..

FLIGHT MODE <<==>> as in "you're about to board a flight ... that's why airport told you not to use cell phone or any electronic gadget ... because it interfered & "might" cause flight equipment to malfunction ! ;)

so ... turn it "on" .. when near electronics to minimize interference

"OFF" ... as most of us do ...by default ... is when you need to you your device as normal.

the "ON" /" "OFF" might be confusing .. depends on how you view it though.

FLIGHTMODE:
"ON" ===>>> WIFI & Bluetooth are "OFF"
"OFF" ===>> WIFI & Bluetooth are able to turn on by you ... not necessarily ON automatically ... it means you now CAN transmit !!! :approve:

see that is what i had figured... but the weird thing is that when the flight mode is "on" the little antanne symbol at the bop beside the X starts acting as though its connecting to something, instead of the normal disabled symbol... so i didn't understand why it would do that... lol

thanks man
