I just got an exchange for my X 51 that I prurchased on 11-16. The first X 51 came with ROM A01 hardware rev 0. Soemtimes it would not power up like others until I removed the battery and put back in, but other than that I had no issues . Dell sent me a replacement with hardware rev 01 and ROM A 03 which I updated to A04. Loaded everything back in and it will not recognize the CF card , no power up at times , and sometimes get the white screen . I also have issues with sounds and notifications . I do not choose the screen taps key but I hear anyway. When I try to set event notification for something other than active sync it will not save the setting. After I hit ok and come back out it will go back to the active sync default. I am not waiting on another replacement , I guess I just have kept the first one. Anyone else had oissues with sounds and notifications? The Dell tech I worked with today simulated the same issue I had with the S&N and sent to the engineers
