Hopefully this will fix the disappearing CF card problem also.

They may just issue the missing page from their manual. The one that states 'If you do not want to loose your CF or SD card turn on BT and leave it on'. LOL

Depends on whether you find it missing from the Axim or from your desk. They may be able to fix the former.

Got off the phone with Dell tech support and they told me that a new rom update would be available within the next 2-3 weeks. The update should fix all BT issues as well as the memory card problems.

Lets just hope that this really is going to happen - would be nice to use BT...

Will the new update require a hard reset? It is REAL ANNOYING to keep having to reload software!

don't mean to offend anyone but you newbs will believe anything People have been calling Dell about updates since the x5 came out and we get these "hey I called Dell" threads. its sort of like my kids trying to tell me that they invented bell bottom pants. but it is refreshing to see new people here anyway. :approve: I have learned a few things that i didn't know before from you guys. You will learn to be patient like the rest of us. been there done that. (and forgot about the lock button too!)

Ha ha... I was noticing that too! One thread said an update would be out in a week. That was a week ago!

I'm not sure which is worse though, willingness to believe or Dell (so called) techs lying through their teeth!

It's such a long way. But I figured these engineers are probably not in a working mode in the holiday season.
