Dell Axim x51v
can any one help me with this problem I have a Globalsat BC-337 CF GPS Card that will not work with my TomTom v5.21
the test software that came with it work OK locks on to loads of sat's my HAICOM HI-406BT Bluetooth unit works OK with TomTom...Just need some help with this CF unit...it say that it will work with TomTom OK....in TomTom config can not see any CF Setting's only bluetooth TomTom & wired units...

Try soft rest. There are CF problems with the x51 - see other posts. After the rest, if the x51 sees the card, you will likely have to soft reset the next time. A fix for the problem is promise from Dell. My guess is by the end of Jan.

I use a BT Globalsat GPS (with iGuidance software) and it works great.

Done the soft reset but still no luck.......thanks
mine see any CF Cards I put in the pda....had no problem at all.
running Rom A04 after upgrade from A01

Update....got the BC-337 cf gps Receiver working with Alturion GPS V6 you need to do a soft reset, the settings are....

Device=GNS CF GPS
Com Port= Com 4
Baud Rate=4800
Parity=None
Data Bits=8
Stop Bits=1

Still need help with others Software

Alturion GPS V6 Now Working
Navigon Mobile Navigator V5 part working after Software update to V5.2
TomTom V5.21 still not working

Intergrated GPS / external TMC
Port: COM 4
Baud: 4800

only it will lock on to the GPS unit but will still drop it when you try to run a route... I think it must now be windows 2005 thats the problem...will let you know if it gets any better.

Update Sent the Cf BC-337 Back to the shop,they sending me a Bluetooth unit...could only get it to work with TomTom for a bit then it would lose it....
