A06 released (almost)

Anyone notice that Dell has a webpage up for the A06 ROM update?

It's dated 1/3/06, but like when A04 came out, the file isn't actually on their FTP site.

I'm actually somewhat reluctant to apply this update (when it's actually released), since my unit has been running pretty well since A04. I know that others haven't been so lucky, though.

The only info that Dell gives on this update is:

"Windows Mobile V5.0 Adaptation Kit Update 1.1 enhancement."

Dell's webpage doesn't say if a fix for the crippled ms bluetooth stack is included in the rom update A06 but i'm still keeping my fingers crossed.

LOL. I don't know if I can muster enough courage to bite the bullet. I don't have any issues with my X51V except for the crippled Bluetooth stack. I'll wait and see. :rolling:

I've updated my X51v to A06 - I was never able to get A04 loaded (the update really didn't like to work with Win2K OS).

Will reinstall my apps and let everyone know if there are any differences in performance.

so if i am reading this correctly i cant upgrade my x51 to this update? is there another one i have to wait for later or what? some one please tell me otherwise i will try it and hope for the best i hate this bluetooth stack (micro$oft one sucks)
