One of my objectives for acquiring my new Axim X51v was to download and play .wav files from my DIY Linux voicemail machine. I am able to download regular files of over 1 Mb. When I go to download and play a .wav file (< 1 Mb) via MS Internet Explorer, I get an error message: "There is not enough disk space". This is not true.

Anyone with similar experience or a work around?

Pocket IE is a bit annoying in how it downloads files. It only recognizes certain files and doesn't give you a "Save As.." like a desktop when it doesn't recognise an extension.

I'm guessing it's trying to save the file to memory or something when there's not enough space. Try opening the URL of the wav directly in your player.

Do a search for ACMStation on this site. Use it to convert the wav files for use on the Ax.
