I was unable to get a connection/link between my Axim X51 with the A05 rom update and my Bluetooth GPS (DeLorme Earthmate Bluelogger) using either Maptech's Pocket Navigator or DeLorme's 2005 Handheld software. HOWEVER - This was FIXED SUCCESSFULLY insofar as the Maptech Pocket Navigator program by getting an update from Memory-Map Navigator which was apparently tweaked to deal with the new BT stack issues in WM5. A successful connection also requires careful coordination of the comm port settings both in the GPS button settings on the X51, the Bluetooth settings on the X51 and the GPS settings in the software. While this procedure is way more complicated than it used to be with the Dell X30 and WM 2003, at least it works. The answer appears to be: don't send back your X51 - the GPS software you're using has to be designed for running under Windows Mobile 5, otherwise you probably cannot connect to your GPS.
