A06, disappearing button functions

Here's one I haven't heard anywhere else yet.

x51v succeessfully flashed to A06, no problems. Decided to change the record button assignment to a 3rd-party app (Resco Audio Recorder). All worked fine. Turned power off. Later turned power on and NONE of the buttons, except for power and the 5-way, worked any more! The Start|Settings|Buttons dialog showed them all still correctly assigned.

I had to reassign them, one by one, leave the Buttons dialog, and then assign them back before they would work again.

Happened again twice, now. Each time after a soft reset. All button functions unresponsive until manually reassigned.

I have the same problem, but later after I disabled the Power Button feature in Omega One Battery Pack then everything turned out ok. But I had another problem, Button #5 is missing from my Settings->Buttons.

I contacted Dell tech support (about the vanishing button functions) and got this answer:

"These issues are known and a recognized problem that many of our Dell customers are experiencing with their handholds after installing Windows Mobile 5 upgrade. Many of our Dell engineers are working on this subject in order to resolve these issues with Windows Mobile 5 and very soon an upgrade will be release so that the AXIM could work flawlessly with the Windows Mobile 5 upgrade. All Dell customers will be notified through Dell Support."

They also offered to exchange my x51v for another one, which makes no sense at all. Although there are still enough bugs left to be pretty sure of another update, I wouldn't expect one so soon on the heels of A06.
