Anyway have the unit for a while now & have to admit I am pleasantly surprised by it. The X51v is not as quick as my X30H but it sure does look a lot nicer on that VGA screen :)

Also after ALL the issues I have had with it must STRESS to ALL X51v users to buy Sprite Backup ASAP!!! It's a MUST piece of s/ware - goes ahead of PI 2005!

The X51v has crashed numerous times for me, IS STILL SLOW to sync. Has slow boot-up times but you can live with it once you start it up & play the latest game on it - or just use it as a GPS system!

Is it worth the upgrade from the X30H, NO! As my X30H could do a lot of the things the X51v could & sometimes a LOT quicker. But as I had a screen issue with my X30H I had no other choice.

If however you need a new PDA, the X51v with PI2005 & Sprite Backup. Is a great package!!!

It was 20% - I just remembered it as 25% ;-)

My last pda was a Psion 5mx... the x51v is behaving very well so far, the great leap forward to colour is nice, I miss my keyboard though...

Wow... I ordered an X51V for £214 from Dell's site the other day, I see the price has shot back up to £264....... I got order confirmation and UPS delivery code so I hope it arrives anyday soon!

I do wonder if this price was wrong as it was only there for a couple of days and it said the offer was until 30-3-06 but it's clearly not there now......

I ordered an X51v for £214 aswell .....35% off...... ordered on a saturday evening and turned up on the tuesday........( ordered with quite a few accessories as well)
( I`m new to this forum..... but what a usefull resource its been so far...)

Ok, works fine now with access point. Didnt do a thing just switched it on following day and it works. Weird.

and it came the next day in a sealed Dell box for under 290 inc. Great service and a lovely bit of kit.

I've added Phatnotes, Calligrapher; 1Gb SD card; Proporta Alu-Leather Case, belt holster; screen protector and 3-in-1 stylus.

Great fun training myself to write on the screen.

It synchronises perfectly and I've had no problems with ZA Sec Suite.
