New Axim X51v not turning on
I got the Axim for christmas, and on that day, i turned it on, set the time, fiddled with it a bit and put it back away.
now, i'm back at school, and trying to get the damn thing turned on again.
i've charged it up, the power light is green, the lock switch is 'off' and nothing i do to the button (pressing, holding, hitting with a big- i mean... tapping rapidly) will get the thing turned on.
i've read part of the thread that deals with this problem, but none of it helped: i can't turn the damn thing on, much less get something installed, and holding down the power button does nothing.
help?

Take stylus and insert into small hole above battery cover. This is a soft reset. It should clear the problem

(1)Soft-Reset it by using the stylus by gently inserting it in the hole at the back of your Axim. Now the Dell Logo should show and just wait patiently for it to load.
(2)Apply the "Fake Server Tweak" provided in a sticky on the x50v/x51v forum. This should fix your "turn on" problem.
Good Luck! :)

thanks, but that didn't do it.
i tried it while it was plugged in, tried it unplugged, tried it while holding the power button down, took out and put back in the battery, tried holding the little button down, nothing.
