boot up delay? help please

when I switch on the x51v, it seems to take about 20-30 seconds before the screen becomes responsive - almost like boot up time. I dont think it used to do this, but cant remember. Have done hard reset and reinstalled all software. no difference? what is it doing during this time?

Probably run some incompatible software. Go to memory manager and see what is running in the background. Close items one by one to isolate offending program.

I bet you are having the same problem that I had with vbar. uninstall it. I think it has to do with the battery logging that is built in. I tried to just disable the battery option but it didn 't matter. had to go back to Magic Button. Also, it didn't uninstall all the way, had to delete the startup in \windows\startup.

I have mine set to do a full power down when the button is pressed. It does take time for the system to boot up. When I change it to do system stand by then it comes right up. The Axim is shipped with the power on off button to put it into system stand by. I just want my to shut down when turning it off.
