Unable to switch on

Hi Guys,

I just bought my Axim X51v last december 2005

Now I have problem, that I cant switch on my PDA after I off it for let say more than 1 hour.
What I have to do is soft reset or remove the battery & install it again.

I call DELL, they say it is happen if I put the SD/CF card on my PDA. It will clash with the WM5. They said they work on it.

Is it true? Anybody have the same experience with me?

Please help me if anybody know how to solve the problem.

It happened once not long after I bought my X51V. Then I upgrade my ROM to A06 & apply the "Fake Server Trick". Search for "Fake Server" on this site if you don't know what it is. I can't search for you bcos I am surfing w/ my X51V.

Now, I leave my SD card on all the time. No problem since.

I have a x51v with ROM A06 direct from Dell. I immediately had issues with it not powering on when the SD card is installed. A soft reset will start it up immediately. I did the fake server trick and it still will not power on if I leave the SD card in for an extended time period with is in suspend mode. Strange...

It's a little annoying to have to take the SD card out, but I imagine there will be a fix for this eventually....

only had that problem before the fake server trick. I leave SD and CF card in at all times, and haven't done a soft reset or had any problem at all in over a month. It surfs, connects via bluetooth to internet, connects by wi-fi, does GPS, books and movies. Try doing the server trick again, and be sure active sync is not running in background. Home/system/memory/running programs/ and see if active sync needs to be stopped.
