ActiveSync failure - Port issue

I am syncing my X51V with two PC's. A laptop running Win2k and HomePC - XP. With my laptop I am syncing thru IR my contacts and calendar while with my homePC only files.
I lost my USB syncing with both of the PC's. IR sync is still working with my Laptop.
When I insert PDA into its USB cradle, the AS4.1 prompts with a constat "connecting" message but that's it.
I installed on my X51V the VxSniffer (www.cam.com) and noticed that the communication failed due to 169.254.2.1 --> 169.254.2.2, Port 2224 --> 5679. failure where 5679 port is unreachable by the PDA. The same failure appears regardless of my Firewall state (Enabled/ Disabled). When I run 'netstat -a' I can see that my PC listen to this port.
BTW, when I hard reset my PDA, the USB sync starts working until a point where it stops.

Any ideas ?
