before you go thinking this is the white screen of death question about putting the axim in the cradle read through my problem...

I get the white screen of death appearing even when the axim is off... if i turn off my axim every so oftern (seems be 15-20sec) the screen will just turn on in white mode and then shut off again... the axim doesn't freeze or anything... and if i push a button it actually turns on a lot faster then if i was to do it when it was off... seems like some half awake stage... Not sure why it does this... but if i do a quick reset it seems to go away and works fine... i wouldn't really care if it wasnt for the battery drain on the axim... seems to drain almost 20% over night if i let it be...

any ideas? i have resco today plugin and pocket breeze other then that nothing else on the today screen and usually nothing running in the background (mort player at times for the alarm)....

I have had this issues of WSOD prior to upgrading to ROM A06 and applying the 'Fake Server Trick' listed on this site in another thread. Since then (almost 3 months now) I have had zero issues with this problem. Give it a try.

I think i read somewhere on this form that if you put your axim on the cradle while it was off, that it tend to whilte screen.

So as a habbit i always turned it on b4 setting it on the cradle, never had white screen again, but then again i also updated to A06

you got the WSOD if you have Wifi on, X51v on suspend mode, and you put it in the cradle. try it and I guarantee you'll see it.

not sure if you didnt' read my post or if you just skipped it, but i said its NOT the problem that occures when putting the axim in the cradle.

I get a white screen on my axim even when it is off, far far faaaar away from the cradle! or any form of activesyc connection with WiFi and Bluetooth both off....
