I'm running Lotus Notes 6.5 on my Thinkpad.

I used to use Easy Sync 4.2x on older Axims with PPC 2003 (or older) with no issues.

I can't get anything to work with Mobile 5. I've tried Pylon Pro, Intellisync 5.5, mNotes Commontime. Pylon Pro doesn't have a Mobile 5 version. I couldn't get Intellisync to work at all. mNotes set up icons on my workspace, replicated my contacts the first time but nothing else ...... and has never worked since.

So, anything out there that works ?

Oh, one other question - my device ID is listed as WM_shcveyc - is that standard? I wanted to buy some .lit books, but haven't yet activated MS Reader. Is WM_xxxxx a standard device ID?

Yep... you can change it but that's the default. OH and watch out if you have
licenses tagged to that... it changes whenever you do a hard reset and reinstall,
(it goes WM_Greg, WM_Greg1, WM_Greg2... etc for me)
so you want to reset it whenever you do that. It'll hiccup if a "My Documents" already
exists so you need to rename prior to the reset on AS, then name or copy the files
back after.

Lotus Note mNotes works on the X51v as I currently have it installed.

I have MNotes on my X50V with WM5. It works superbly well-it's the only Lotus Notes synch software I'll use. CommonTime (the vendor) provides fantastic support.

Either. You can synch via ActiveSync or with a server. I'm able to synch with my server anywhere there's WiFi. One particularly neat feature is "push." Any changes made to contacts, calendar, etc., are immediately pushed to the Server, and vice-versa; i.e., If I make a change at my desktop, the server pushes the change to my Axim automatically.
