when i download the patch and run it, it extracts itself and executes however after the backup question and i hit next it says it can not find the update file.

I have re-installed the roll back twice and same result I dont know how i can tell it where the update is, since it put it where it wanted it, in the dell drivers folder.

It extracts files onto c:\ in a Dell folder. Find the update executable in this folder and then run it and it will work.

Here's a question - you posted in the X51 Hardware forum. Was that a mistake or do you actually have an X51? If you have the X51, it's not possible to roll back to WM03SE because that OS was never on the device.
