Hello all,

I have been searching for a while now and I still cannot find any instructions(free) on how to change/repair a broken glass screen on a X51v. I found a replacement screen only for $45 dollars and another one for $105 for both screen and replacement work. I have already spend so much to buy my axim and im trying not to spend anymore.
I am a computer technician so I am quite competent with repairing stuffs BUT I just don't want to get in there without any instructions.

www.gethitech.com is a PDA parts site. I know they have instructions for Palms but as I'm new to the axim I don't know if they have axim info yet.

Now that I'm on my PC and not my Axim, I see that site does have some axim disassembly info, but for older models. You could probably learn what you neeed to know though.

I also broke my axim glass, you said you found a screen replacement for it, can you please tell where so i can also buy one. And if you succesfully replace it following the instructions at www.gethightech.com and have any suggestions i would really appreciate it.

The only thing that it does not tell you, is how to get the digitizer off the LCD. It is afixed by Double sided tape. a razor blade and a hair dryer to heat it a little and it comes right off
