not uninstalling or deleting files??

Hello,

okay, although I've been on the aximsite for the past couple weeks, this is my first post.... I was looking for a printer driver for my new 51v. I found the HP for pocket PC driver and installed it. Well, I never got it to work, maybe it wasn't made for Windows mobile 5. Anyway, I uninstalled it with the "remove programs", but the folders are still located at windows\AppMgr\Hewlett Packard HP Mobile Printing... and they won't delete even if I try to manually delete them in explorer...??? any help is much appreciated.

Try a soft reset and delete them immedietly after soft resetting. Youll find after programs uninstall they leave crap behind. Thats why a hard reset can be your best friend.

...if by "soft reset" you mean pressing the button on the back, then that is what I did, but no luck at all

Thats to bad. Yes, pressing the button on the back is called a soft reset. What does the error say when you go to delete.

Example of a file I'm trying to delete: "cannot delete STP3800. Access denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and the file is not currently in use"

I dunno, must be loading it in windows registry somehow or something... sucks!

I have this problem too.I wonder how much space the leftovers from this program take up.

I, too, used to have this same problem. I bugged the crap out of me that I couldn't get rid of those files. However, not anymore. I install MemMaid to my x51v. This is a program and cleans our your memory and much more. I love it because I can always be sure I have deleted all the un-needed crap.
I hope this is of some assistance to you.
