I have a problem with my x51v regarding poor colour. All colours are dull/grey...for eaxmple bright red appears as red/brown.

This issue is most noticable as I used to have an ipaq2790 and the colour was fantatsic.

Dell have sent me a replacement axim and the colour is still poor/dull/greyish.

Has anybody expereinced similar problems? If so how have you resolved them?

I am having the same issues as you do regarding color. I love using the McDeb Thememaker yet when I send to the Axim the colors are not the same, duller. However, now I'm experiencing a new phenomenon. My screen has gone checkerboard black and white. I changed the Today screen to a different picture helped to resolve some of the problem however the icons continue with the checkerboard black and white. My current Axim X50v is a replacement that I recently received approx. 2 months ago. If anyone can give a hint on what's the problem?

I have noticed a similar problem. On mine, however the color looks ok, until I put it next to the same picture on my PC, and see what it's SUPPOSED to look like. The colors are washed out compared to the original.
I posted this question a couple of weeks ago, no solution yet. Please let me know if you find out anything. Thanks! Dan danjurek@msn.com

I would call Dell support I thought I was having a problem with mine and in about 45 min they were ready to send me a brand new one to replace it
