already in there.

Any suggestions for this issue? I have to push the reset button once I plug
it in to charge, just to get it to come to life. After that, no issues (so far).

Any other info I need to know about this new unit is also appreciated.

Thanks gang .. and glad to be back !!!!

There is a known problem with X50v & X51v handhelds.

The workaround can be found http://support.dell.com/support/topi...E1C&l=en&s=bsd

The additional information not provided by Dell is that you must remove the check marks from all the boxes on the "a" server you set up. Otherwise, the sync will take forever.

After reading this I am wondering what will solve my problem...

I generally use my Axim to watch some videos, via Pocket DivX Encoder and BetaPlayer, as well as keeping tracking of appointments/contacts.

The last three times I have charged the battery it would drain itself while it is turned off. I could have understood if I had used the unit for the 1-2 hours that the battery lasts for but I went to turn it on today and it was down to 0%. I am sure that wireless is disabled and that my battery is set to auto-saving mode but it still went down to 0.

Would a hard reset fix the problem?
