This is a problem I had, not sure if anyone else has seen it.. I thought I'd post this so people running searches might come across it.

My x51v was having a problem with Wifi, A06 ROM.. On boot of the PDA, you could turn wireless on and off all you'd like and it would work great. Turn the PDA off and on again, and upon activating the wireless, the green light flashes, but the rotating beach ball wait cursor never goes away and wireless doesn't become functional. A reboot is needed to make wireless work again.

I thought this was an A06 problem, but it turns out it's caused by the Think Outside IR Keyboard driver. Open "Stowaway Keyboard", select the "IR" tab. There are two checkboxes - "Enable Infrared Keyboard" (which should be checked) and "Keyboard coexistence with other infrared applications" (which, if it's checked, will cause this problem - at least on my PDA). So, the solution is to uncheck co-existence, and reboot.. The problem should go away.

Hope this saves someone else from the headaches it put me through. :)
