Hi all,
It's my first post here so greetings to all and many thanks for such an extraordinary knowlege base here.
As many of you I experienced problems with connecting my x51v with my PC (AS 4.1, Toshiba TabletPC with XP SP2, firewall off). Green circle spinning and spinning around, message "Connecting" displaying and nothing happens. After many unsuccesful tricks (static IP, dynamic IP, fake servers etc.) I've checked running services (Administrative Tools - Services) and noticed that service DHCP Client was marked Automatic but not Started. So I started (right mouse button on name DHCP Client and select Start from menu, you can also check Properties from the same menu if service is set to Automatic) it and voila - connected !!! Now I'm able to sync, install and explore.
So if you experienced problems with AS - check Services.
