Before I have a CF card, it seems that the FAKE srver fixed my problem about power not on and white screen.
I am using a CF card now, but the white screen problem happens once a while, and I often notice a messenge"Please inser your storage crad", actually I got them inserted, if I use explore, I can see the crad, just got a wrong messenge.

So does the fake server fix all your problem?

Well, not ALL the problems, but many, if not most were fixed with the fake server, AO6 download, and taking SPB Pocket Plus off my SD card. It is a flighty little paper weight, is it not? Soon, with patience, all will be well (I think).:)

SPB Pocket Plus? what's the problem?I have not noticed something caused by it.

Avatar, I am not sure what was the problem with it, The Axim just had a dozen different problems, mostly hanging and needing soft reset, sometimes just jumping out of programs, etc. Twas when somebody told me to lose the battery monitor that I removed the whole thing, and it has been rock solid every since. Will re install, placing on the main mem rather than SD card one day, see if problems return. Will let you know. Right now though, I have been enjoying my first week of problem free driving.

Fake server *definitely* fixed all of my problems. It was ingenious. Now if I can just figure out how to get the switcher utility to not be so flaky, all will be perfect.

I immediately set it up with A06 and did the fake server trick. I have never experienced the white screen trick or the disappearing storage card thing.

I have Spb Pocket Plus installed along with a ton other stuff. I have a 512 SD card that I install all my programs too and an 8gig Microdrive to store all my stuff on. Works like a dream.

It didn't work for me. My ax still turns on while docked. Any ideas?

As a very heavy Axim user, I have found that all the fake server does to help is stops AS from automatically stopping. Which is good.

if you went back and read it .. it clearly indicated that it is NOT supposed to work while the device is docked !!!! only while it's UNDOCKED !!!

Fake server + error reporting off + MUIFIX = ROCK SOLID for me

those 3 things are MANDATORY for the Axim !!!

last bridge to cross is the BT stack issue and this baby is a dream !!! :approve:
