Program Icons

Hi. I am new with pda and got my X51V two weeks ago. I installed the clearvue suites that came with the Dell CD to try. Today I deleted them via Remove Programs under Settings. However, the program icons still show up in the start menu and under Programs. Any advice on how to get rid of them without doing a hard reset? I don't want to do a hard reset because I have GPS software installed which require setup via the internet with the software manufacturer. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Thanks for the response. So, do I go to my PC start menu or the Dell start menu to do this? Could you let me know the specific steps. Sorry for the hazzle as I am not very good with computers. Thanks.

Using the file explorer on your dell axim, go into the windows directory, then into start menu, then programs. tap and hold on the shortcut you want to delete and select delete from the pop up menu

Losing icons is a WM5 bug. I checked with friends using other WM5 on other devices and they all have the same problem.

Are you in Qvga or TrueVGA mode, Bigbugs? There's a "patch" for TRueVGA mode that restores the Icons for the most part.
