Eh? X51V is ARM Intel PXA27x

Just using TCPMP there in a settings menu and it said that I was running a Dell Axim X51V - ARM Intel PXA27x @ 208 Mhz.

I thought all the X51V was XScale at 624Mhz ??

Start -> Settings -> systems -> power

Change your processor speed to Max.

Check TCPMP again.

Also Intel make's the Xscale processor, Xscale merely means the ability to change the speed. Your current config is most likely set on Auto processor to save battery power. When the processor speed is not required, it drops down to 208mhz.

hope that helps

You are correct albaJoe. However, if you leave the power settings on auto it will run at whatever speed it suits for the purpose at hand. It chose the slowest speed to save power.

Thanks for the quick reply gents and as usual spot on. It does still say ARM though, this maybe just a TCPMP thing ?
